The Practice
You can read this page in three or four minutes. Or you can let it take longer. That is the practice, actually — letting things take longer than they need to, so that what is real has time to arrive.
Arrive.
There is nothing to prepare. You are already here.
Notice the surface you are sitting on. The weight of your body against it. The temperature of the air on your face. The small sound the room is making that you have been filtering out.
Take one breath. Not a special one. Just the next one you were going to take anyway.
You are here.
Be received.
Before anything else can happen — before you can create, or clarify, or become — you need to know that you are welcome.
This is not something you earn. It is the ground. Without it, nothing you build will hold. We are incapable of holding beauty and abundance without first clearing our path to belonging.
In my tradition it is called being one of the people. Not superior. Not enlightened. Just present, in the company of others, allowed to be here.
If this is difficult to feel, that is honest. Most of us have to grow toward this ground over many years. But you can begin now, with a small motion. You can say, silently: I am welcome here. You do not have to believe it. You just have to say it.
Speak.
There is a practice I have been shaping for many years. I call it Intention Creation™.
It is not goal-setting. It is not manifestation. It is a prayer to the deepest aspect of your own being. Or, if you have a tradition that names it differently, a prayer to the Spirit, Creator, Self, or Inner Consciousness that tradition holds.
The prayer is short. It is direct. It is honest.
You do not need to make it perfect. You do not need to repeat it twenty-five times. You need only to speak it clearly, once.
What would you like more of?
That is the whole question.
Take a moment now, if you are willing. Speak silently. Do not analyze. Just say what is true.
Trust. Receive. Adjust.
When you have spoken plainly, the practice becomes: notice what shows up.
An opening. A phone call. A small invitation from a friend. A book that finds you. A tightness in your chest that suggests a boundary. A person who reappears in your life. A dream you had.
When intention seems to fail, it is rarely a failure of the asking. It is a failure of the seeing. Something is presented in response — and we do not notice it, or we notice it and discount it. The cognitive mind is very good at discounting.
The practice, once you have spoken, is to say yes to what shows up first. Not the perfect version. The first. And then, gently: a little more like this.
That is the whole method. Speak once. Trust. Meet what arrives with yes. Adjust.
Go further, if that is what wants to happen.

Speak with me.
If a real conversation would help — no agenda, no obligation — write to me here. I read every message myself.
The framework beneath this practice — the four Archetypes, the five Domains, the Intentional Core™ — is real, and it is available if you want to study it. But you do not need it to begin. The practice begins where you are. It begins with the next breath you take.
